We designed and constructed a specialised low-temperature drying room for a client in South Australia, where precise control of temperature and humidity was critical to product quality and consistency. The system was engineered to maintain stable conditions down to -2°C while delivering uniform airflow and reliable drying performance.

Engineered and Constructed Drying Room – Delivered and Assembled On-Site

We designed and constructed the drying room at our Gold Coast facility, including HVAC and control systems, before shipping it to South Australia and assembling it on-site. The system was fully tested prior to delivery to ensure reliable performance under operating conditions.

Stable Low Humidity Control (≤30% RH)

The system was designed to maintain a consistent relative humidity of 30% or lower, using a desiccant dehumidification and commercial refrigeration approach. This provided stable moisture control with the flexibility to operate at lower humidity levels where required.

Remote Monitoring and Control for Distributed Operations

A tailored control system was implemented to allow both on-site operators and the client’s head office to monitor and manage performance remotely. This reduced the need for frequent site visits while maintaining consistent operating conditions.

Engineered Airflow Distribution for Uniform Drying

The fabric ducting system was meticulously designed with evenly spaced perforations along its length. This ensures consistent airflow distribution, delivering cold, dry air evenly across the stacked trays for uniform drying results.
